After I received the notes from the manager yesterday about Mixtape, I was on cloud 9. My husband was there when I received the comments and he was excited for me. I also wanted to share my wonderful news with my friends, so I called the usual suspects.

Sorry about the voice mail, Kay. Work is relentless! I was ready to sign up for welfare on Thursday. One day, I'll tell you the story. 80 hour work weeks are too long! And for all this work, I make an extra $700 per year. Who ever says teachers make too much money has never done the job!
